Wall Art Tutorial using Old School House Wood
I bought a pile of old, school house wood over a2 years ago waiting for the right inspiration to finally use it. The wood was beautiful, chippy, worn tongue and groove and it was really heavy, I might eventually build a cabinet with it but my first project would be this beautiful sign:

I started by gluing the tongue and groove boards together and then I used 1 by 2 lumber, mitered corners, and built a frame that I nailed to the top. Here is a list of supplies I used:
old wood cut to 17" lengths
1x2 boards with mitered corners
DIY paint in Bead Board and Tarnished Pearl
DIY Dark & Decrepit Liquid Patina
IOD Fronds transfer
DIY Big Top Sealer
IOD Renaissance Stamp (first generation)
IOD ink, black
This video will take you through the entire process so that you, too, can create beautiful wall decor from discarded items.
