If you want to learn skills to create texture in unexpected ways, to look at one canvas through different lenses, look at different ways to add interest to backgrounds…then this is the workshop for you.
We’ll be exploring texture to create a mixed media piece on an 8x8 wood gallery blank, and looking at a variety of tools for mark making. We’ll be making the second project on primed duck canvas with whichever color palette you choose (measures 12x16). We will be doing a few smaller texture explorations and pieces as well.
This workshop will be a combination of live and prerecorded lessons in a private fb group. You’ll be added to the group no later than January 30 and the first lesson is February 1 at 4pm EST. 
Not included in the kit that you’ll need: 3-6 paint colors of your choosing, black and white paint, decoupage medium or gel medium, stamp set (I’m using IOD Reverie), clay or resin elements for board (I’m using IOD Trimmings 3 and Classic Elements but any will work great), gold metallic paint, basic craft supplies.
